Nicholas Spetko, MD, MSc
Nicholas Spetko, MD, MSc, is a general cardiologist and echocardiographer at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed Internal Medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at BIDMC, where he also served as Chief Medical Resident. He subsequently completed a T32 postdoctoral research fellowship at the Richard A. and Susan F. Smith Center for Outcomes Research under the mentorship of Dr. Jordan B. Strom, MD, MSc. He holds a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health. His research uses implementation science and outcomes research methods to understand and improve the role of cardiovascular imaging in care delivery and patient outcomes.
